Last December at a prestigious awards lunch held at The Grange St Paul's, London, the inaugural LGC Business Partnership Awards rewarded those who have demonstrated outstanding joint working between councils and the private sector. See the full list of 2011 winners here Emma Maier, editor of LGC, said of the awards; "This year I am proud to launch the first awards to recognise the important role of the private sector in modern local government. I was struck by the quality and diversity of many of the entries, and the passion you displayed during your presentations to the judges. Congratulations to all of you who are on the finalists and winners this afternoon. I look forward to the Business Partnership Awards taking their place in the local government calendar in years to come." Congratulations go to all winners and finalists who have worked hard to out-perform expectation in challenging circumstances. We would really like to hear your feedback on these awards; if you entered, attended or would like to make any general comments, please take our survey. Best wishes The LGC Business Partnerships Awards Team | |
